Test Analyst

You enjoy working in a Scrum team on the management of offline transaction processing applications. You test software in a structured way and you set up the tests on functionality, technique and performance.

Test Analyst compares test results with expectations and analyzes found deviations quickly and skillfully. He or she draws up test specifications so that colleagues within the scrum team can get started. The Test Analyst continuously monitors the quality and consistency and ensures that the functionality is well documented. In addition, he or she supports the Technical product managers with research and analysis in the field of transaction processing. The expertise of our Test Analyst is used to advise on solutions for new functionalities and for solving production disruptions. He or she is the point of contact for functional questions from other Testers, Application managers, Developers and stakeholders outside the team and works closely with other colleagues within the Scrum team and other colleagues. Finally, our Test Analyst can be deployed for all common activities within an agile scrum team.

This is you You are a real techie who can work well under time pressure and likes to take on ad hoc jobs. You have good communication skills and can coordinate technical activities well. You are eager to learn and accurate and have a systematic and analytical attitude. You can also make good connections and you pay attention to details and structure. You find it important to continue to develop yourself and seize opportunities for personal growth and education with both hands. Cooperation and collegiality are of paramount importance to you. Furthermore, you have:

• Minimum HBO working and thinking level
• Affinity in the field of transaction processing.
• ISTQB Foundation or TMap NEXT certification;
• several years of experience in technical testing and test analyses;
• experience in translating requirements into specifications;
• experience with test/release automation;
• experience with SQL / databases;
• experience with reading XML based messages is an advantage;
• experience with performance testing is an advantage;
• basic knowledge of credit and debit card business is an advantage;
• experience with working in an Agile (Scrum) environment is an advantage.
• good command of the Dutch and English language.
